In addition to our other skillsets, we are very well-versed in working with international home buyers and investors.

Seattle, in particular, is a desirable place to purchase a property in the US. It is a high-tech area with plenty of access to world-renowned schools and medical centers, recreation, and more!

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

You don’t need a visa to buy a property in the US. However, you will need an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number. Here is additional information.

If you need to take out a loan to pay for the property, you will want to work with a lender who is accustomed to working with foreign buyers. We have a number of resources and will be happy to help connect you.

If you are not an English speaker, or speak limited English, we can arrange for a translator.

Kaela’s family is first generation Chinese from Hong Kong. She was raised in a blended Chinese-American household, growing up in the Chinese restaurant business and with a lot of Chinese friends. Her reach includes Hong Kong, Shanghai, and beyond. Family and friends became interested in buying properties in the United States and she was just the person to help. To that end, she expanded her skillset, and now is equipped with the knowledge to assist. Furthermore, her familiarity with Chinese customs and culture create a comfortable working relationship.

What’s even better about working with Kaela and Co? If you purchase a property in the US, but aren’t ready to live in it yet, Kaela can rent it for you and you can earn income without having to do much of anything.
